We have been in Texas now for almost a year and do I have some stories and insights to share!
The offense he was in is built for lot’s of passing yards but he was still the one throwing the ball and did lead them to C-USA Championship. Not the Pac-10 or SEC but they play hard and have some great players and teams. Any thoughts of Mr.Kolb?

Texas teachers: What do you do to fulfill your professional development hours requirement?
I’m certified in Texas and have not taught in a public school since my certification (almost 2 yrs.) I’ve been in private schools. I just wanted to make sure I keep up with the 150 hr requirement so I can apply for my renewal certificate in 5 yrs. I know that most of you probably just go to the stuff required by your school but, if you know of anything else that I can use that’ll count please pass it along.
There are opportunities to get your PD requirements by attending seminars and also by reviewing dissertations. I know this latter because many who review work for those who are applying for Ph.Ds want "layman’s" eyes as a fresh perspective before critically analyzing it.
How is the Texas Longhorns playing the Oklahoma Sooners in Dallas, Texas considered a nuetral site?
If Texas gets to play in the State of Texas that seems like an unfair advantage.
It’s when they split the tickets between the 2 schools. If half the stadium is filled with Oklahoma fans and half is filled with Texas fans it is equal in terms of fans of both. It’s done to give each team equal support and it keeps the team who plays in that state from having a home crowd advantage. The game between Georgia and Florida in Jacksonville, Florida is the same. The stadiums in both situations are considered the best sites for the annual rivalries.

We’ve moved from Texas to Oklahoma, and lost the registration to our truck.(2005 ford F150) They won’t register it here without the registration, and Texas won’t print a duplicate because it’s expired, (about 18 months ago). We can’t renew it in Texas, because we have to do it in person, and that’s not an option. What the HECK are we supposed to do? Is the window registration sticker the same as having the registration on paper?
Also, we don’t have the title because it’s a lien. Texas doesn’t release the title until the lien is paid.
You don’t have a whole lot of choices.
Option 1. Park it until it’s paid for, and you have the title, then get it transferred to Oklahoma and registered.
Option 2. Go to the closest court house in Texas and pay for your past due registration, bringing it up to date.
No, the sticker is not the same as the paper registration card.
Added: Also don’t drive it with expired registration, or you are likely to get it impounded, adding to your costs and problems.

When entering the “Great State of Texas” proceed with caution. Texans are quite sensitive when it comes to their homeland. One wrong comment and they”ll be telling you they didn’t invite you in the first place and you can leave anytime you wish. Texans believe they live in the very best state and everyone else is envious. I am still perplexed by the immense amount of state pride a true Texan posesses.
